All seniors are required to complete a senior project as part of the English IV curriculum in Anderson School District Five.  The components of this project include reflecting upon the student's past and future, choosing an appropriate topic based upon the reflection, producing a research paper, making an oral presentation, creating an original product that is demonstrated in the oral presentation, and working with a mentor throughout this entire process.  Mrs. Anthony also requires that the students keep a log that outlines the time spent and the mental growth that the students experience throughout the creation of the senior project.  The research paper, notes, and log will be turned in all together in a portfolio notebook.

As mandated by the school district, the research paper will count twenty-five percent of the first nine weeks grade (click here for rubric) and the project and presentation will count 20 percent of the second nine weeks grade (click here for rubric).
