Welcome to the Wonderful World of Research!!  

It is time to stretch your brain, learn interesting facts, and discover everything you ever wanted to know about how to do a research paper from start to finish. 

Over the next few weeks we will work to develop your research skills from choosing a topic to peer editing a final draft.  It is important that you keep all handouts, follow directions carefully, and meet the deadlines to ensure full credit.  I will walk you through the process step by step so stay with me.

STEP TWO:  Beginning your research (asking questions, collecting source

STEP THREE:  Recording your information  (preliminary outline, taking notes)

STEP FOUR:   Organizing information (writing a thesis and outline)

STEP FIVE:  Writing your first draft (include documentation)

STEP SIX:  Evaluate and revise (peer edit)
